THE PHILOSOPHY

The philosophy of Om Made Cafe is to entice each of the senses with a combination of good food, quality service, uplifting music, enticing art and an enchanting setting. Each outlet is dressed in its own identifiable fashion, embodying local inspirations that are unique to its setting. The Lifestyle Café was conceived with a vision to offer a convivial refuge from the frenzied world outside, inviting patrons to a welcome respite, alone or with friends. 
 

THE CUISINE

FRESH, ORGANIC PRODUCE
Using the finest organic (wherever possible) and other fresh and locally sourced products, Om Made Cafe prepares every item on their menu with the utmost care and love to ensure that the food is always healthy and delicious. The brand’s distinguishing mark is that they ensure every organic product used can be traced to its source, a core philosophy employed in the preparation of all their recipes. The menu is simple (breakfast, salads & sandwiches), yet sophisticated, where the French chef & owner, draws inspiration from his prolific culinary experience and from flavors across the globe to render even the simplest of plates absolutely enticing!

THE CAFÉ

Om Made Café has now moved to Tesò Waterfront in Siolim. Simply furnished in striped deck chairs and benches overlooking the Chapora bay, and a smattering of wooden furniture, colourful cushions and an eclectic art collection that comprise the interiors, this little café makes a charming spot to spend the day, or evening.  The menu offers simple yet sophisticated light meals, starting with a sumptuous breakfast in the morning followed by exotic sandwiches with Indian influences and salads served throughout the day.

The cafe additionally prides itself on its fresh fruit smoothies and juices that showcase the plethora of fresh tropical fruits that Goa offers. Also on the menu, organic teas and coffee!

THE MENU

The menu features simple, delicious and healthy plates created of fresh and organic produce, which is the mantra of this charming cafes, featuring an all-day Breakfast menu (organic muesli, fresh & dried fruits, Swiss yoghurt with 'om' made jam, organic eggs); Om Made Specials (Quiche, Croque Monsieur, Cold Soup of the day); sandwiches (Veggie Wrap with Hummus & Avocado, Tuna Sandwich); Exotic salads (Praia, Tabbouleh& Raw Papaya Salad) and of course, Desserts (Fruit Crumble, Brownie of the day &Crème Caramel).

The beverage menu at Om Made Cafe is extensive with refreshing fresh juices of tropical Goan fruits; smoothies; iced teas (cardamom-Mint, Mango), and frappés (cafe, including masala chai frappé), as well as a selection of hot tea, organic teas, organic coffee, Ice-tea, fresh lemonade, espresso and cappuccino; Extensive wine selection from regions in France, Italy, Spain, South America, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. .

Om Made Café was given the unique opportunity to expand its brand to a stunning rooftop terrace location in India’s garden city of Bangalore. Trading in the ocean-view of the little café in Anjuna with the verdant skyline of Bangalore allowed Om Made Café to expand its brand while staying true to its essence: providing good food in a restful ambiance with an inspired view.
 
The food at the Bangalore outlet stays true to the essence of the Om Made Café philosophy, however, the menu is considerably extended to appease the urban diner, with charcoaled grill food, raw food, revisited classic favourites like burgers, risotto, flat bread, tarts and other desserts. This allows the café to extend its offering to lunch, dinner, breakfast and even brunch, in addition to being a cafe ideal for catching up over a cup of coffee and French crepes.

Om Made Café’s sourcing philosophy always favours organic products, whenever possible, in the preparation of all its dishes. Strong emphasis is given ensure to the quality of the sourced products, ensuring each ingredient is fresh and flavoursome. Among the organic products sourced by Om Made Café are tea, coffee, rice, selected vegetables and greens, oils, cereals, grains, sugar, dry fruits and sun-dried tomatoes.Om Made Café, Bangalore, additionally boasts an extensive collection of domestic and imported wine for diners to choose from.
 
In keeping with the brand’s rich association with yoga and yogic philosophy, the Bangalore location will offer yoga classes to customers early every morning, followed a yogi breakfast.

THE STORY

In September 2005, Gregory Bazire moved to Goa, India and opened Le Poisson Rouge, an innovative Indo-French Fine Dining Restaurant. Inspired by Indian culture and the appeal of opening a relaxing day-time place on the beach, two years later, Om Made Café was created, bringing together Gregory’s penchant for vintage furniture, photography and healthy organic food. 

With an experience as a chef spanning over  half a decade in Michelin Star restaurants from California to France and Ireland, he aslo refined his skills at his own family restaurant in Normandy, a famous Brasserie called Les Vapeurs.

Gregory infuses his culinary creations with diverse influences.

In Goa, his restaurants follow one presiding credo, that great food is created by using only the freshest products that are locally available.
