Antares is a restaurant, beach club and resort located on the alluring Ozran Beach, in North Goa. Situated atop a small hill overlooking the Arabian sea, revel in dining, music and entertainment on your beach vacation to Goa.


Antares is a lifestyle destination perched on a cliff embraced by one of the prime sea facing locales in Goa. A white gravel pathway leads to a stunning cliffside restaurant and bar with a beach club. This overlooks the Ozran beach, affording magnificent views of azure waters beyond.

The 250-cover restaurant and bar boasts a strategic location in an upmarket neighbourhood. Feel the tropical atmosphere in an airy interior-meets-exterior layout that presents sweeping views of the seascape.

Spread over three terraced sections, you can be in the heart of the action or opt for an intimate and quiet table at the far end of the restaurant.

Decked in earthy tones, cool grey walls, and white accents, the décor spells minimal rustic chic. Find thatched palm roofs, wicker basket chandeliers, and trendy wooden and cane furniture. If the views aren't enough, an LED installation of the constellation of Scorpius may keep you occupied!


The all-new menu for Antares' third season (2017-2018) showcases Goa's rich heritage revolving around seafood, and unique flavours from around India. You'll notice the play on flavours that incorporate modern techniques and contemporary presentation to provide interesting twists to dishes.

Antares' kitchen consciously collaborates and sources its ingredients from sustainable farms and ethical growers in Goa. It serves an expansive array of meals across six menus - one each for breakfast, dessert, evening, the main restaurant, the beach club and for private dining! The thoughtful kids’ menu features half a dozen familiar dishes for the little ones.

Expect to savour 
Chicken Cafreal Bao with Kokum Chutney and Pickled Red Onions, Snapper Ceviche with Lemon, Charred Corn and Mayo, Chilli Barbeque Prawns with Crisp Onions and Paprika Mayonnaise, South Indian Seafood Chowder with Goan Poi, Cabbage Foogath with Kokum and Coconut Chutney Bao, among others. The Kingfish Croquettes with Pineapple Piccalilli is the season's showstopper at the restaurant.

Vegetarians can rejoice relishing dishes such as Mushroom Rillette served with Pappad and Crisp Onions, Brioche Toastie, Grilled Spiced Paneer Skewers with Mango Salsa, and more.

Guests with a sweet tooth can dig into delectable desserts such as Rosemary Pannacotta, Banofee Pie Cheesecake et al.

Try the charcoal grilled meats, and two delicious wood-fired pizzas loaded with numerous toppings. Kheema - Spiced chicken mince, garden peas, labneh, fresh mint, shaved red onion and The Funghi - mushroom, thyme, taleggio, balsamic glaze and caramelised onions.

Add to this, elegant plating on their own line of custom designed ceramics, for a truly sumptuous dining experience!


The open bar counter stocks an impressive array of beers, spirits and wines. Kiwi Mojito, Passionfruit Pani Puri, and Spicy Mango Martini make up the modest cocktail list, all of which are served by the pitcher too. Also, try the refreshing Kokum Margarita which includes a spirit infused kokum syrup. Sample a fine selection of small plates to complement your drinks.

Drink in hand, enjoy your evenings as the sun slips away into the horizon. Antares hosts live musicians and electronic artists through the week to enhance your experience here. You are encouraged to join an eccentric troupe of coyote-style dancers to usher in the cheerful vibe.


Antares offers thirteen accommodation facilities spread across multiple levels along the cliff. Rest and relax in the spacious ensuite wooden cottages, well-appointed with plush furnishing and modern amenities. Shaded by towering palms, and the sound of lapping waves, cherish your experience of tropical beachside living.

From the Party Huts and Antares Suites next to the restaurant, to Ocean Delight, Ocean Comfort and Ocean Front cottages gracing the cliffside, you have five different categories of rooms to choose from. Enjoy unobstructed vistas of the Arabian Sea from the comfort of your beds. 

Immersed in a book, laze about in hammocks peppered around the property. Take a dip in the infinity pool as the day gets warmer and unwind with a few cold beverages on sun loungers laid around. Pamper yourself with a host of massages and therapies at the in-house spa.

A chance encounter brought the creative forces of Ashish Kapur and Sarah Todd together. Antares, their ambitious endeavour, saw fruition in the winter of 2015.

Antares is named after the brightest star on the Scorpius constellation from Todd's zodiac sign!

Ashish Kapur is the Founder and Managing Director of Moods Hospitality. He prides in an impressive portfolio of award-winning brands such as Yo! China, Dimsumbros and The Wine Company. His most recent projects inlcude Whisky Sambas and The Wine Rack.

A McGill University graduate in Electronics and Telecom Engineering, he was part of GE Capital's Global Leadership Program before returning to India and venturing into restaurants. For his contribution in hospitality and entertainment, he has been honoured with numerous accolades.

You'll find him speaking regularly at esteemed industry forms and top-notch educational institutions. As a theatre buff, he's acted in plays across the world and has also starred in an international short film.

Sarah Todd is a model, chef, television personality, and a cookbook author. She began modelling for high-end fashion brands at the age of 18. From appearing on magazine spreads, walking the ramps in fashion capitals, and becoming a household name during the sixth season of Masterchef Australia, her journey has been quite eventful to say the least.

Todd found her love for food during her travels around the world and signed up for training in classical French cookery at Le Cordon Bleu. She later worked alongside Neil Borthwick and Angela Hartnett at Merchant's Tavern in London, and lead restaurants Tonka and St. Crispin in Australia.

Todd's passion in handmade ceramics and delicate furnishings can be witnessed in her range of affordable designer homeware that retail under the brand name Sarah Todd Living.

Todd calls India her second home, and Goa as says, is reminiscent of her hometown in Queensland.
