Tucked away in one of the bylanes of Calangute, the hostel makes for a convenient base for vacationers to explore the northern part of the state.
Zostel Goa is housed in a refurbished Indo-Portuguese mansion. An attractive patio corridor at the entrance sets the mood for a soujourn here. Beautiful intricate colonial motifs juxtapose with retro and quirky decor elements and quotes all over the property. Colourful upcycled furniture and artefacts make up the rest of the interiors.
Adjacent to the reception is an alfresco cafe overlooking a large garden area. This lush space is dotted with hammocks and bean bags amidst flowers and shrubs.
Guests can choose to settle down in the comfort of their dorm beds, socialise with other travellers in the common living areas, involve in games and sports or cook up a storm in the communal kitchen at their disposal.
Zostel Goa provides comfortable accommodation faciliites in a lively setting; inspired by the thriving hostel culture in Europe. Guests will find solace on clean, bright linen adorning bunk beds with dedicated lockers and charging points.
Amenities and facilities include game rooms, lounge, garden, wifi, travel desk, fully stocked open kitchen, laundry services and shared baths/toilets.

In August 2013, Zostel entered the market as a chain of branded hostels across the country. Currently in Jodhpur, Jaipur, Udaipur, Agra, Varanasi, Delhi, Vadodara & Goa - a natural progression in the list of tourist centric markets which drive a hostel business.
Initially, a bootstrapped venture, the founders made best impressions at business plan competitions including but not limited to Richard Ivey School of Business, Canada, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and the Wharton India Economic Forum B-Plan to further gain angel funding.
With a vision to be present across the length and breadth of India, and to be established as the biggest youth brand in the country, thirty more Zostels are in the pipeline by 2016.
