Nesteld in a garden on the main Ashvem-Mandrem main road, Jamboree Creek is an enchanting resort offering comfortable accommodation in hand-made wooden huts. With flowering shrubs and fruit gardens, the huts are sourrounded by lush cover beside a natural creek.
Stoned pathways lead guests toward an exapnsive swimming pool complimented by an open air shower. The creek is visible throughout the property and the nearby beach is accessible via a private bamboo bridge.
There is sufficient space to unwind and quiet enough to make a wonderful experience. A domed restaurant space with easy and casual floor seating is set amidst the gardens overlooking the pool. Guests are welcome to meditate and practice yoga in the makeshift yoga studio under the dome or out in the open beside the creek.
Jamboree Creek offers accommodation in 11 huts, 7 of which are air-conditioned. All huts are double bedded with en-suite open air showers. The interiors are minimal to compliment the natural exteriors. Mud and oxide walls make for decor, each hut has a private sit-out with garden and creek views.
Several modern amenities are available in the huts including en-suite baths, TV's with satellite connection, mini-bars, air conditioning, room service and more.
Guests may enjoy lazing by the creek, a swim in the pool beside it or relax by the lush gardens.
Jamboree Creek is an initiative by Priyanka Sharma and Rajeev Kumar. They are business partners who have renovated the existing space at Jamboree Creek as per their design sensibilities.
Priyanka is a young entrepreneur from Delhi. Rajeev has over 25 years of corporate experience in the hospitality industry.
In late 2013, they renovated the space including the deluxe huts, the swimming pool and open air showers. Several plans like an in-house, confined fruit and vegetable garden and a dedicated yoga studio are in the making.
